Today at school they had their book fiar and all the kids had to dress from a character from a book, luckily we had a tutu in our suitcase and she was angelina ballerina :) After the parade of Kindy through year 6 (which took 1 1/2 hours of them on stage) they got to gt their faces painted, decorate cookies and lots of other fun games for .20 or .50 each, Sydnee got her face painted as a Cat. The one picture of the man in the fairy costume is a teacher there and then the one with the kids on stage, the 3 ones to the far left are boys. Sydnee got to pillow fight with this nice boy who was probably year 4 and he let her win, it was really sweet. Then the picture with Betty (flintsontes) is Sydnee's teacher Mrs. Boyd, whoc normally has blond hair.

Sunday fun

We went by the Pinsak House on the way home from church on Sunday. Dean has been finishing a chicken pen/coop and there is this cool tree in there that Sydnee is learning to climb. One of the things I love here is there is so many cool things to do outside that that is where we spend most of our time.

Spoon Bay

We went to Spoon Bay Saturday, its about 3 blocks from our house and the tide was out so the tidepools were exposed. There is a cool cliff you can walk up to as well and it will eventually take you to our backyard. I can't wait to get my other computer with the editing software on it so I can play with the pictures more. It was a bit windy and about 60 degrees, remember its winter here.

Sydnee's first Day of school!!!!

It was today! We had her tested and should probably could of gone into 1st grade here, but she would of been the youngest and they figured that she would not be bored in Kindy so that is where we put her. T his is her dress uniform that she wears twice a week, then three times a week she gets to wear her sport uniform. When 4th term starts she switches dress to the Summer Dress uniform, which is a cute little dress. They must wear their hats at all times outside. When we got to school today there was a group of girls, saying "oh look that is Sydney and kinda looking at her". Miss Sydnee instantly because the shyest thing I have ever seen, it would of shocked you all. Then the "buddies" who are in year 6 came along and whisked her away to make friends and introduce her around. Sydnee's buddy is Christina (i think that is her name) and she will show up before school, lunch, recess and help Sydnee if she needs it. Its really cool. I figure after today she'll be right (Oa saying which means she'll be alright or she'll be good). More pictures to come soon, we're on limited internet here so its hit and miss for us. Love you all.

Bush Turkey

There are all sorts of interesting creatures running wild. no doubt you all know about the deadly Brown Snake and FunnelWeb Spider.....but the bush Turkey now this is a scary fellow HAHA, they just run around in the yards here and people do eat them. I don't care for them personally.

Moving day is finally here!

Well it has come, we are finally on our great adventure to Australia. Its been a long time coming and we are so thrilled! A wonderful family bought our home and I hope they have as many wonderful memories as we did. Its nice to know it will stay a "home" to someone. I meant to take more pictures, but I just couldn't. It was hard seeing my life packed up in my house in brown boxes and wrapping. I did manage to get the containter...well one of them....that has our household in it. The other - Larry's toys :) Boat, surfboards, kayak, etc. The container left on Weds....Larry left on Tuesday and Koda on Weds. Sydnee and I are visiting my parents in Utah for a week.
